“Purple” follows the course of one young couple's relationship. This short film tells a story of truth, intimacy, and how love is not always as perfect as it seems.
A silent drama conceived, produced, shot and edited entirely in 48 hours as part of a filmmaking challenge for the 2012 Raindance Film Festival. The film went on to screen as part of the online ShortsNonStop Film Festival, where it picked up the most votes for the Audience Award, nationally at the Staffordshire Film Festival, where it was nominated in the Best UK Filmmaker category, and internationally at the Hyart Film Festival in Wyoming in 2013.
